Hello forum,
my name is George and I am from Bulgaria. Some of you know me already.
I looking fishes of 12 years old. With discus from six years. From known time I fell in love/crazy love/ with wild discus and so it all began....
Now I have 9 young Curiperas with that much fun and I am very happy.
This is a brief about me.

great young discus ( not wild caught for me but tank raised ) , it will be nice to give us some news during their growth . The tank looks nice too

Yes, the fishes not wild caught. I bought them eight months ago from Jörg Schütz in Germany. http://discusman.de/
They are F1 from wild paar.
Details about my tank:
450l - dimensions - 150x55x55

Light - 4x36W - 2xGroLux, 1xAquastar, 1xDayLight - SunGlo
Interval - constant 12h

Filters - 1x Atman - 3338 1200l/h with 6 liters Siporax, and 800 l/h, UVC 13W

Heating: 300W

Water: No osmosis - kH 0,5-2, dH 3-4, pH 6.5-6,8, t-29C, 80(spring)-135(autumn) microsiemens/Water that I use by plumbing with the same parameters - t 15C and pH 7/
NO3 20mg/l, NO2 - 0
water replace - 2х40% per week. no CO2

fish – 9 x Curipera, 30 x red neon, 4 x SAE, 5 x ancistrus, 2 x Agamyxis albomaculatus
Plants - Ehinodorus bleheri - amazonicus, Ehinodorus ovalis, Nymphaea Lotus and Pistia.

Food - granulat /Tetra - Prima, Vitallity and Tropical/, beef heart with minced sea meat with astaxantin, live food/Chironomus(I use less)/

sand - quartz 2-3mm

Here are new pictures after replacement of the sand(0.8-1.0mm) - Fishes are still under stress and the color is slightly pale.

it is very pretty with new sand and the discus are splendid.

in a few days they will have found beautiful colors.

Oh yes,I rather your tank with this new white sand....you will see the difference quickely with a direct effect on the colour of your Discus
